    Description

    PCGS authenticated and graded MS 65 BN.
    Choice light olive and bluish steel brown with traces of faded mint red remaining visible on both sides, particularly on the reverse. There is a small planchet flake in the dentils below star 1 and another on the bust above the first 1 in the date, both as struck. Nicely struck E-MDS, Breen state II, with fine radial die flowlines in the fields and complete dentils around both sides. Tied for CC#2 in the Noyes census, his photo #34067. Bland says CC#2 as well.
    Satiny, lustrous surfaces with great eye appeal.
