* Hjalmar Schacht  (b.1877-d.1970) was a German economist, banker, centre-right politician. He served Germany as the Currency Commissioner and President of the Reichsbank under the Weimar Republic. He served in the WW2 German Leaders government as President of the Central Bank (Reichsbank) 1933-1939 and as Reichsminister of Economics from 1934-1937. During the war he served as Reichsminister without Portfolio till 1943.
