Vintage Jewelry Necklaces

Description

Detailed description of each of these vintage necklaces:
1.)  3 strands of glass pearl beads - these pearls are 7-8mm in size. The lobster-claw clasps-are silver-plated. They are several years old, but you can see from the photo that the metal clasps are un-tarnished. Silver polish has not been used on them. The purple strand is 16.5" long with the clasp and 34.01 grams; the teal strand is 17" long with the clasp and weighs 31.8 grams; the copper-colored strand is 17-1/4" long with the clasp and weighs 39.6 grams.
2.) 60" strand of what appears to be wood vs. plastic beads. No clasp is needed since this necklace is so long. It can be doubled and tripled around and tied in knots. It can be twisted and used as a choker with a bead fastener at the back of the neck. You can find bead fasteners at department stores in assorted shapes, sizes and lengths. There is NO metal in this strand and it weighs 39.6 grams.
3.)  56" Black and red bead necklace with a gold-plated clasp that isn't tarnished. There are also some really HUGE gold pumpkin-shaped beads that feel like wood or plastic and they have a carved look to them, and NO tarnish whatsoever! Some of the very smallest beads in this necklace are gray-looking seed beads, or the kind of beads that are found in snowflake obsidian color-wise. This long necklace can be doubled over and twisted like #2, above.
4.)  Large round silver pendant. This is a lovely pendant with a gorgeous, strong adjustable chain on it that you could wear with any other pendant you have. This is several years old and neither the chain nor the pendant have tarnished, and for that reason, I believe it may be either pewter silver or stainless steel. The chain adjusts from 16" to 19". The pendant alone measures 2-1/4" east to west and 2.5" north to south and weighs 28.3 grams. It is VERY shiny.
5.)  30" strand of black and white beads with gold-colored spacer beads. This strand is acrylic, plastic or partly wood. It only weighs 45.3 grams (1.6 oz.), so is light weight. The large gold-colored spacer beads have never tarnished, though this is an old necklace. They are bright and shiny and I believe they may be plastic or some sort of resin. It does have a lobster style clasp that does not look tarnished, but is scratched up and not a bright, shiny gold like the spacer beads.
6.)  60" Turquoise & Burgundy bead necklace, which is really more of a raspberry & teal color (but I couldn't change the color names in the variations). This is a plastic vs. wooden bead necklace with huge silver-colored rhondeles that are most probably plastic as they have never tarnished either. A necklace of this length needs no clasp. It too can be doubled & tripled about the neck. It can be twisted into a choker and fastened with a bead fastener like #2 described above, and tied in knots. It is very colorful. It weighs 42.5 grams or 1.5 oz.
7.)  30.5" chain necklace with approx 10 mm lustrous pearls (which may be glass or plastic). I believe this is a hematite necklace, because the chain matches the color of the beads that look like they are hematite. There are medium-sized faceted hematite beads, HUGE mesh-covered silver balls that look like hematite and are 16.8 mm in size, and smaller, perfectly smooth & round silvery hematite-looking balls that are 13.5 mm in size.  The necklace weight is 51 grams. The necklace is 30.5" long with a nice hematite lobster claw clasp. Both ends of the necklace have triple chains that extend 5" in length, then becomes 4 chains wit a 5th row of pearls and the silvery faceted hematite-looking beads that are 8 mm in size. All of the chain in the necklace matches the hematite-colored lobster-claw clasp.
