Russia downs 59 Ukrainian drones over Bryansk region

MOSCOW, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) — Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 59 Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region, local officials said Tuesday.
Earlier Tuesday, Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz said on his Telegram channel that a large-scale attack involving drones had been repelled in the area.
“At the moment, 59 enemy drones have been intercepted and destroyed over the Bryansk region by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry,” he said.
There were no casualties or damage at the scene, and emergency services were currently working on site, he added. ■
